FOCUS Broadband Supports United Way of the Cape Fear Area
Shallotte, NC – Each year, FOCUS Broadband donates to United Way of the Cape Fear Area to help fund programs that will benefit residents in need. This year, FOCUS Broadband’s Board of Directors and employees raised approximately $16,461 to support United Way through the cooperative’s annual giving campaign.
“Our team at FOCUS Broadband believes in the power of giving back and this campaign is a testament to their dedication,” said Keith Holden, FOCUS Broadband CEO. “We’re proud to present United Way with this donation and we are appreciative of the work they do to help those in need in our communities.”
The funds raised during the 2023-2024 campaign will be dispersed in 2024 for a wide range of community, health, human services, and educational needs in our region. Since the cooperative’s first United Way campaign, FOCUS Broadband and its employees have contributed more than $465,000 to United Way.
“Our vision is a united community that is healthy, safe, and prosperous for everyone,” said Tommy Taylor, United Way of the Cape Fear Area CEO. “It’s a lofty goal, but if every organization puts in as much effort as FOCUS Broadband, then we can achieve it pretty quick.”
