FOCUS Broadband Now Accepting Applications for 2025 Grant Programs
Shallotte, NC – FOCUS Broadband is now accepting applications for its 2025 Community Connections and Smart Connections Grant programs. Applications will be accepted through February 28th, with a total of $40,000 in grant funds available for both programs. Eligible nonprofits and local educators can request up to $2,500 in funds to support their initiatives.
Community Connections Grants provide funding for programs that offer emergency assistance, disaster relief, arts and culture, civic initiatives, health, and human services, all aimed at improving the lives of residents in FOCUS Broadband service areas across Brunswick, Columbus, Pender, Duplin, Robeson, Bladen, Chowan and Perquimans counties. Similarly, Smart Connections Grants are designed for educators, preschool organizations, administrators, and other agencies, helping them fund projects or purchase materials that enrich the learning experience for students in these communities.
Since the grant program’s inception in 2006, FOCUS Broadband has awarded more than $1 million in community and education grants. Applications, along with details regarding eligibility rules and exclusions, are available on FOCUS Broadband’s website at www.focusbroadband.com/giving-back.
Applicants can send their completed forms by email to grants@focusbroadband.com or by mailing them to FOCUS Broadband, Attn: Grants Program, 640 Whiteville Road NW, Shallotte NC 28470. Applications must be completed and received by FOCUS Broadband no later than 5:00 PM on February 28th, 2025.
