Shallotte, NC – As a way to say thank you to members and customers, FOCUS Broadband held a Customer Appreciation Event on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at company’s headquarters in Shallotte. The family-friendly event drew hundreds of attendees, who enjoyed an afternoon of food, fun, and exciting prize giveaways. Leta Secondary of Calabash won the grand prize drawing for a 55-Inch flat-screen television.

Held in conjunction with National Co-Op Month and customer service week, the event celebrated FOCUS Broadband’s commitment to its community. Founded in 1955 as a member-owned cooperative, FOCUS Broadband was established to help bring essential communications services to rural areas of Brunswick County. Since then, the company has grown to become the largest broadband cooperative in North Carolina and one of the largest in the nation.
