Shallotte, NC – FOCUS Broadband announced that its Board of Directors and employees recently presented the United Way of the Cape Fear Area with a $14,868 donation to help fund community programs that will benefit local residents in need.

“Supporting the United Way is a tradition we take great pride in,” said Keith Holden, FOCUS Broadband CEO. “I’m proud of our employees’ commitment toward helping those who are most vulnerable in our community, and grateful to United Way for their work to address these most critical needs.”

This employee-led fundraising campaign has been held at FOCUS Broadband for decades. In 2024, FOCUS Broadband was honored to receive the Cape Fear United Way’s Campaign Growth Award. Since launching its first United Way campaign, FOCUS Broadband and its employees have contributed more than $475,000 to support United Way’s mission.
